Description
The EV3 dumb output device is as an example the "3th.party-O" motor.
Connection type of the motor is defined as shown in tabel Detection Rules.


Type/Mode
"Type/Mode" data is read at startup from the "typedata.rcf" file (see Type 14).

Schematics

• "R1" is 390K and defines the "Type" equal to "3th.party-O" (see EV3 Dumb Output ID's).
  
• "R2" is 22K and only needed if the imperdance of M1 is greater than 1000 Ohms.
